The nightshade family, or 'Solanaceae' comprised some
ninety two genera with over two thousand species; it's
members include many stimulating, poisonous, or medicinal
plants, such as tobacco, henbane, mandrake, and belladonna;
ornamental plants, such as petunia, chalice vine, and
angel's-trumpet; and some of our most widely used food
plants, including: Potatoes (not
sweet potatoes), Tomatoes, Eggplant,· Peppers
(all kinds, including: green, red, chili, paprika,
cayenne, hot, sweet, etc., except for black & white
pepper.)
Nightshades are high in alcoloids and may subtly
remove calcium from the bones and deposit it in joints,
kidneys,
arteries, and other areas of the
body where it does not belong.
